Jennifer Pickup is a dedicated educational professional with extensive experience in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Currently serving as Nursery Manager, SENCO, and DSL at Rocking Horse Nursery since January 2022, Jennifer also teaches at Bratton Primary School, where the focus is on fostering imagination in young learners. With a strong background in curriculum development as the Deputy Curriculum Leader for English at Bristol Brunel Academy from 2007 to 2018, Jennifer has contributed to shaping KS3 English education. In addition to teaching, Jennifer is a published author with works available through Unbound.com since 2011. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies at UCL for an NPQEYL, a PGCE in Secondary English from the University of Bath, and a Bachelor's Degree in English Studies from the University of Nottingham, among other academic achievements.

Unbound is an award-winning online crowd-funded publisher that allows authors to pitch their book ideas directly to readers. If readers like a book idea they can pledge to support a book. Once a book reaches enough supporters to make it financially viable, the author can go ahead and write the book, which is then edited, typeset, printed anddistributed by Unbound. The books bear the names of all the subscribers that enabled the book to happen.
