Jessica Shelton

Jessica Shelton serves as the Associate Director of Transfer Admissions at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, overseeing enrollment processes for transfer and non-degree seeking students since August 2014. With a strong focus on developing comprehensive recruitment plans and enhancing operational efficiencies through data analysis and technology, Jessica maintains key partnerships with community colleges and supports the creation of articulation agreements. Previous roles include Senior Assistant Director and Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions, where Jessica implemented strategic marketing initiatives and optimized recruiting practices. Prior to working in higher education, Jessica held positions in counseling and education services for military-affiliated students. Jessica Shelton is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
