Matthew Gallek

Matthew Gallek has a diverse background in nursing education, currently serving as the Interim Director of the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since August 2018, alongside roles as Associate Director for Academic Programs and DNP Program Coordinator. Matthew has held the position of Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since January 2017 and previously served as an Assistant Professor at The University of Arizona from August 2008 to May 2017. Education includes a PhD in Nursing obtained from the University of Pittsburgh (2001-2008), a BSN from the same institution (1998-2001), and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Allegheny College (1992-1996).
