Parker Moran

Parker Moran has extensive experience in IT operations and infrastructure management, currently serving as the Director of Networks, IT Operations, and Research at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since 2014. In this role, Parker advances technical strategies and collaborates with university leadership to enhance datacenter and cloud infrastructure in alignment with the university's mission. Previously, Parker held various positions at UNCW, including Assistant Director of Infrastructure and Manager of Virtualization and Infrastructure, as well as serving as the Director of Information Technology at Carteret Community College. Parker's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Services, and a certificate in Project Management, all from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
