Matthew Scheerer, MAL, currently serves as the Associate Director of Development Communications at the UND Alumni Association & Foundation, where responsibilities include creating publications and collaborating with various stakeholders to communicate targeted messages. Previous experience includes serving as the Promotions Director for the Division of Performing Arts at North Dakota State University and as the Director of Athletics Communications at the University of North Dakota, where digital communication strategies were developed and executed. Earlier roles span positions at Landmark Ford Lincoln, Northern Illinois University, Portland State University, Harvard University, and the University of Minnesota Crookston, encompassing various aspects of communication, marketing, and customer service. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management from the University of Minnesota Crookston and a Master of Arts in Non-Profit Leadership from the University of Jamestown.
