Dirk Bekkering

Dirk Bekkering is a seasoned professional in the fields of design and construction, currently serving as the VP of Design and Construction at Under Canvas Inc. since September 2021, where strategic leadership and team development are key responsibilities. Prior roles include Director of Design and Construction at Under Canvas, Construction Design Manager at KHS&S Contractors, and Sr. Project Manager at Walt Disney Imagineering, managing high-profile projects such as a new hotel in Anaheim and attractions in Tokyo and Disneyland California. Dirk's extensive experience spans various international roles, including managing significant architectural projects in China and leading teams focused on sustainable design. Dirk holds an MSc in Architecture from Delft University of Technology and furthered education in Chinese at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
