Terry Vaughn Jr. started their career in 2008 as a Teacher at Germantown Hills School District. Terry then moved on to become an Assistant Principal at Peoria Public Schools District 150 in 2014. In 2017, they took on the role of Assistant Principal at Metamora Township High School. Currently, since 2019, they are serving as the Principal at Union County Public Schools.
Terry Vaughn Jr. earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Eureka College in 2008. Terry then went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western Illinois University in 2013. In the same year, they also obtained a Type 75 certification from the Illinois State Board of Education.
