As the primary 911 EMS system for Union County's population of about 300,00 citizens, Union EMS receives over 25,000 requests on average for service per year. Union EMS operates a dynamic deployment system, which involves strategic placement of our 911 resources throughout the entire county in aim to achieve optimal responses at all times to those in need. Union EMS also responds to non-emergent service requests by providing interfacility ambulance transportation or medical stand-by coverage for various types of scheduled events.
