LT Cdr Ijaz Hussain (R)(PN) has extensive work experience in the security and safety field. LT Cdr Ijaz served as the Chief Security & Safety Officer at Union Fabrics Pvt. Ltd, where they were responsible for preparing and executing security and safety plans for five units. LT Cdr Ijaz also managed the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems and conducted induction and training for manpower.

LT Cdr Hussain also had the opportunity to visit the United States of America in 1980 for the acquisition of a Pakistan Navy platform. During their visit, they completed a fire fighting course at the US Navy Fire Fighting School in San Diego. LT Cdr Ijaz also visited various locations such as Hawaii, Guam, and Olongapo in the Philippines.

LT Cdr Ijaz Hussain (R)(PN) pursued their education in a chronological order. In 1967, they enrolled at Union council High School and completed their High School education in the field of Science in 1972. Moving forward, from 2001 to 2003, LT Cdr Ijaz Hussain graduated from Karachi University, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Arts. Additionally, in 1994, they received a Certificate of Services as a Second Class Engineer in the Merchant Navy from the Ministry of Communication.
