Unitech Training Academy
Mike Ryan currently serves as the Director of Distance Education at Unitech Training Academy, a position held since March 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Copy Editor at Copywriting Crew and as a Youth Program Specialist and Adult Education Instructor at South Louisiana Community College. Mike also taught as an English Instructor at Devillier Educational Center and worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Academically, Mike Ryan holds a Master of Arts in English-Literary Studies and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies with a business concentration, both from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Unitech Training Academy
Unitech Training Academy was granted a license by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education on April 24, 1997, and became a fully operational proprietary school. Beginning with one program, the Certified Nursing Assistant program, the school now offers other programs to meet the needs and demands of the local communities in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Unitech Training Academy is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Regents, the Commission on Proprietary Schools, the College Registration in Mississippi, and the Private School Licensure Division of the Alabama Community College System. Unitech Training Academy has been accredited since 2003 by the Council on Occupational Education.
