David Hedges

David Hedges, MBA, P.E. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in security investigations and engineering. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Corporate Security Investigations at United States Steel Corporation since July 2016, David Hedges oversees the planning and execution of investigations related to policy violations and unauthorized activities. In addition, David Hedges has been an Adjunct Instructor at Waynesburg University since March 2016, teaching graduate-level courses in the Master of Criminal Investigation Program. A retired Special Agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, David Hedges conducted investigations into violent crimes, organized crime, and narcotics for nearly three decades. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Mining Engineer at Inland Steel Coal Company and Barnes and Tucker Coal Company, where responsibilities encompassed mine planning, surveying, and environmental engineering. David Hedges holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
