Mikaela Clark is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in child and family services and case management. Currently serving as a JAG Career Specialist at the United Way of the Midlands since August 2023, Mikaela previously worked as a Child and Family Services Specialist at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services from May 2022 to August 2023. This role involved managing case loads, organizing family team meetings, and providing various support services. Prior experience includes positions such as Placement Coordinator and Case Manager at St. Francis Ministries, Foster Care Specialist at Apex Family Care, and Financial Services Representative at TD Ameritrade. Mikaela holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where attendance spanned from 2015 to 2019.

For nearly 100 years, United Way of the Midlands has served the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro by bridging the business and not-for-profit sectors to create a Circle of Support that helps our neighbors overcome difficult challenges and start building a better future. UWM’s funded programs and direct services address social and economic disparities and meet families’ essential needs such as healthy food, safe and stable housing, physical and mental health services, career preparation and job training. With your caring support, we proudly fund a network of health and human service programs that help those in need across Douglas, Sarpy and Pottawattamie counties. United Way works closely with the agencies that host the programs to note measurable results in the lives of their clients. And we collaborate with many individual and corporate donors and foundations to keep the network of hope strong. United Way of the Midlands will continue to evolve alongside the growing needs of our community. We will champion those who are in the fight to better themselves and others.
