Mark D.

Mark D. currently serves as the Director of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness at UnityPoint Health since November 2021. Previously, Mark held the position of Director of Threat Intervention Services at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where responsibilities included leading threat assessment teams and developing safety training. At Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Mark was the Associate Director of Public Safety, managing campus safety operations and overseeing significant infrastructure upgrades. Mark's early career included roles as Public Safety Sergeant at the University of St. Thomas and Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Mark holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Intelligence and Security Studies from The Citadel and a Master's in Public Safety and Law Enforcement Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
