Chris Little has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chris started their career as a 5th-grade teacher at St. Camillus School in 1998. After that, they founded their own web and graphic design firm called 399BC Web Design in 1999, where they managed all aspects of the business. Chris also worked as a partner and production director at Bluemoon Design, providing multimedia and web design project management to private sector clients. In 1999, they joined SRA, a CSRA company, serving as a principal in emergency management and crisis communications. Chris oversaw crisis planning and response teams, provided data analysis and policy development, and facilitated workforce efficacy improvements. From 2010 to 2013, Chris worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate, focusing on senior defense research and mission analytics. Chris managed consulting teams, authored emergency response plans, and served as a career manager and mentor. Following that, Chris joined K12, Inc. as the Director of Support Services and Service Delivery, leading a multi-tier service delivery team and driving customer satisfaction improvements. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at eGlobalTech as a subject matter expert in management and cloud computing, advocating for public sector access to cloud services. Most recently, Chris has been at Universal Service Administrative Co. (USAC) since 2017, where they held various director-level positions overseeing operations, client services, training, and program integrity. Chris implemented organizational changes, led complex enterprise initiatives, and achieved high client training satisfaction. Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong leadership, expertise in crisis management, project management skills, and a commitment to client satisfaction.
Chris Little holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from Salisbury University. Prior to that, they attended Gaithersburg High School. In addition to their academic education, Chris has obtained several certifications including Certified Instructional Designer from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2019, ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Project Management from ICAgile in 2017, Shelter Manager Certification from the American Red Cross in 2009, and Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2008.
