Missam Merchant

Missam (Sam) Merchant is an accomplished healthcare professional currently serving as a Director at University Health since June 2018, and as Secretary for the Texas Nurses Association since July 2023. With a diverse background, Merchant has also held roles such as Independent Consultant for MED-ED and WineShop At Home, and has been involved with Restore Education as a Board Director from April 2021 to August 2023. Notably, Merchant was the President of the San Antonio Indian Nurses Association from March 2019 to January 2023, focusing on the advancement of nurses of Asian Indian heritage in South Texas.
