Lucian Ciolan (b. 18.10.1974) is professor of Educational Policy and Research at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (University of Bucharest).

After four years of managerial activity as Director of Department and eight years as Dean of the Faculty, in December 2019 he has joined the new management team of the University of Bucharest, as Vice-Rector with the portfolio on development projects, lifelong learning and educational infrastructure.
