Brian Suh

Brian Suh serves as a Board Member on the USDA Plant Variety Protection Board, contributing expertise from plant breeding programs at the University of California, Riverside (UCR). Currently the Senior Executive Director of Technology Partnerships and Director of Technology Commercialization at UCR, Brian manages technology commercialization, outreach, and economic development initiatives. Previous roles include Director and Deputy Director of the Technology Transfer Office at SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific, where Brian developed technology transfer strategies and managed patent licensing. Additional leadership positions have been held with the San Diego Regional Innovation Cluster, Federal Laboratory Consortium, and the Center for Commercialization of Advanced Technology. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University, an MBA from the University of California, San Diego, and completed the Navy Executive Development Program at the Naval Postgraduate School.
