Kathleen Fullerton

Kathleen Fullerton possesses extensive experience in higher education administration and public service. Currently serving as Associate Vice President & Director at the University of California Office of the President since January 2019, Kathleen has also held roles as Deputy Director & Chief of Staff and Associate Director, Strategy, Planning, and Operations within the same organization. Prior to this, Kathleen worked as Principal Auditor at the California State Auditor from August 2006 to January 2019 and served as Legislative Coordinator at Shannon Government Relations between January 2004 and August 2006. Kathleen's career began in the California State Assembly, working in the office of Assemblymember Mark Leno from December 2002 to September 2003. Academically, Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from the University of California, Davis, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and participated in an Education Abroad Program at the University of Cambridge.
