Ellen Quigley is a Principal Research Associate at the University of Cambridge since January 2019, also serving as a Special Adviser to the Chief Financial Officer for Responsible Investment. Previously, Ellen held roles as Senior Research Associate and Research Associate at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk at the University of Cambridge from January 2019 to May 2023, as well as Senior Programme Manager for the Investment Leaders Group at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership from May 2017 to July 2018. Ellen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics Education from the University of Cambridge (2012-2017), a Master of Science (MSc) in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford (2011-2012), and an A.B. in English Language and Literature from Harvard University (2003-2007).
