Cassidy Ellis, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Educator at the University of Cincinnati since June 2023. Previously, Cassidy was an Editorial Assistant for the National Communication Association's Communication and Critical/Cultural Studies journal from January 2023 to September 2024. From August 2019 to June 2023, Cassidy worked as an Instructor and Research Lead at the University of New Mexico, leading significant research projects and teaching various communication courses. Additional roles include Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Tampa, Graduate Instructor at the University of Denver, and several teaching and administrative positions at various institutions. Cassidy holds a PhD in Intercultural Communication and Media Studies from the University of New Mexico, among other degrees in Communication Studies and History.
