Mathias Heltberg

Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Copenhagen

Mathias Heltberg is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen since May 2021 and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ecole normale supérieure since April 2019, specializing in Theoretical Statistical Physics and the mathematical analysis of spatiotemporal data. Heltberg completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Copenhagen's Niels Bohr Institute, focusing on Complex Dynamics in Cell Signalling, and has experience as a Teaching Assistant in various physics courses. Prior roles include a Football Coach at BSV, a Student Research Assistant at the University of Copenhagen's Department of Neuroscience and Pharmacology, a Summer Student at CERN, and a Student Assistant at Wunderman. Heltberg holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Copenhagen and attended UC San Diego for further educational experience.
