Iulian Codreanu

Director, Nanofabrication Facility at University of Delaware

Iulian Codreanu has extensive experience in the field of nanofabrication and research physics, currently serving as the Director of the Nanofabrication Facility at the University of Delaware since November 2012. Prior to this role, Iulian held the position of Director at the University of Pennsylvania's Nanofabrication Facility, where responsibilities included acting as the design and construction technical lead for the Sigh Center for Nanotechnology and overseeing the renovation and operation of the Wolf Nanofabrication Facility. Iulian also contributed as a Research Physicist at Elsicon, Inc., securing over $1 million in research funding and leading the development of ring laser gyroscopes. Earlier, Iulian's work as a Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida involved the design and testing of infrared microbolometers. Iulian holds a Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Central Florida.
