Julia Bayuk is an accomplished academic and marketing professional with extensive experience in higher education and industry. Currently serving as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Professor of Business Administration (Marketing) at the University of Delaware since July 2009, Julia has held various leadership roles, including Associate Dean for Curriculum and previously as Assistant and Associate Professor. Julia's academic journey includes a PhD in Marketing from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business and prior studies in Economics, Marketing, and Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. Before academia, Julia gained practical experience in marketing research at First USA/Chase and served as a Marketing Manager at E-Staff, Inc.

The University of Delaware - a state assisted, privately chartered institution - is a Land Grant, Sea Grant, Space Grant and Carnegie Research University (very high research activity). The University, with origins in 1743, was chartered by the State of Delaware in 1833. A Women's College was opened in 1914, and in 1945 UD became permanently coeducational. The main campus is located in Newark, Delaware, a suburban community of nearly 30,000, situated midway between Philadelphia and Baltimore. Courses are also offered at the Wilmington campus and at other locations throughout the State, including Dover, Georgetown, Milford, and Lewes.
