Sheheryar Banuri

Sheheryar Banuri is a distinguished behavioral economist with extensive experience in academia and policy, currently serving as Chair of the Ethics Committee and Associate Professor at the University of East Anglia since August 2015. Banuri is also the Deputy Head of School and Lecturer at Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge, as well as Dean of Students and By-Fellow at UNDP Pakistan. Previous engagements include roles as Senior Education Consultant at Prospera Consulting and Visiting Professor at the Institute of Business Administration. Banuri's prior experience includes serving as an Economist at the World Bank Group, with a focus on applied research in labor topics, and a Project Manager at AT&T, demonstrating a strong expertise in software development. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Political Economy and advanced degrees in Applied Economics and Economics and Finance from The University of Texas at Dallas.
