Mindfulness-based Teacher (mbct/mbcl) at University of Exeter

Dr Alison Evans is an experienced mindfulness supervisor, author, teacher, trainer, and retreat facilitator currently associated with Vivid Mindfulness since September 2004. In addition to this role, Dr Evans serves as the Supervision Lead, Retreat Lead, and Executive Director at The Mindfulness Network since September 2012, and has been a mindfulness trainer at Bangor University since September 2017. From September 2008, Dr Evans has held dual positions as a Mindfulness-Based Teacher (MBCT/MBCL) and Senior Lecturer / Mindfulness Training Programme Lead at the University of Exeter. The educational background includes a Doctorate in Clinical Research and an MSc in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy from the University of Exeter, as well as a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from the Oxford School of Occupational Therapy. Dr Evans completed the Retreat Teacher Training Programme at Bodhi College from December 2018 to February 2022.
