Jean-Philippe Goldman is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in natural language processing and web development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientific Researcher at the University of Geneva since December 2018, Jean-Philippe previously held the position of Senior Web Developer at the University of Zurich from May 2016 to April 2022. Prior roles include Language Expert at Microsoft and Language Operations Engineer at Google, where contributions included corpus building and tool development for linguistic annotation. Jean-Philippe also lectured on topics such as phonetics and algorithmics during a decade-long tenure at the University of Geneva. Additional research experience includes a position at Columbia University, focusing on a project funded by the Department of Homeland Security, and research at AT&T Labs.
