Jim Hopkins

Jim Hopkins currently serves as President of Strategic Ventures Group, LLC, a venture development and management consulting firm, since 1999. In addition, Jim has been a faculty member at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business since 2003, teaching various courses related to business leadership and management. Notable past leadership roles include Acting President & CEO of Athens Regional Health System in 2014 and extensive experience at Alcoa from 1977 to 1999 in various capacities, including Director of Global Information Solutions and corporate consulting. Educationally, Jim holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Georgia.
