Aravind Iyer

Aravind Iyer currently serves as a Residence Life Warden at the University of Glasgow starting in September 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Project Engineer at Aker Solutions from October 2021 to February 2024, where responsibilities encompassed project and procurement engineering, capital cost estimation for a Greenfield chemical project in India, and pre-bid engineering for a utilities project in Saudi Arabia. Aravind also held the position of Junior Project Engineer, contributing to EPCM for a specialty chemical plant. Internships at Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. and Strides Pharma Inc. enhanced foundational knowledge in chemical engineering. Aravind holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and is pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Energy at the University of Glasgow.
