Deepak Vasisht

Deepak Vasisht is an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since February 2021, following a position as a Researcher at Microsoft from October 2019 to February 2021. Deepak's experience includes multiple internships at Microsoft Research between 2012 and 2016, with roles as a Graduate Student Intern and Student Intern. Additionally, Deepak served as a Visiting Researcher at Stanford University in 2011. Educationally, Deepak earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Wireless Networks from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2019 and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 2009 to 2013. Early education was completed at St Thomas School from 2001 to 2009.
