Gretchen Lacombe Vanicor

Gretchen LaCombe Vanicor, M. Arch., Ed. D., serves as the Director of Sustainability at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since January 2014 and is the Owner / Intern Architect of Gretchen A. Vanicor, Inc. since October 2011. Previously, Gretchen held positions as Associate AIA and Director of Marketing and Business Development at Chase Design Group and as Project Manager for the BEAUSOLEIL LOUISIANA SOLAR HOME, where extensive coordination and communication led to the successful completion of a Solar Decathlon entry. With academic credentials including a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration and multiple degrees in Architecture and Business Administration, Gretchen demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainable practices and education in the architectural field.
