Walter Miller

Walter Miller has extensive experience in financial management and administrative leadership within higher education institutions, particularly at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where since April 2016, Miller has served as the Director of Payroll Services, overseeing comprehensive payroll processes and reporting. Previous roles include Vice President for Finance & Administration at the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities, where strategic leadership in finance, human resources, and compliance was pivotal, along with significant contributions to financial affairs at UNC Chapel Hill in various capacities, including Interim Assistant Dean of Financial Affairs and Financial Analyst. Miller holds an MDiv and an MBA from Gardner-Webb University, along with a BA in Religious Studies, and has a proven track record of developing financial strategies, managing budgets, and enhancing organizational operations through technology implementation and compliance initiatives.
