Amanda Harmer

Amanda Harmer is an accomplished architect and educator with over two decades of experience in academia and practice. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Director of Professional Studies at the University of Nottingham, Amanda also leads the Years 2 & 3 Design Studio. In addition, Amanda co-chairs the Governors at Dame Catherine Harpur's School and operates as Architect/Owner at HarmerFitzDouglas. Amanda contributes to professional development as a Part 3 Examiner at Birmingham City University. Previous roles include Associate at Associated Architects and President of the Birmingham Architectural Association. Amanda's educational background includes a BArch/MArch in Architecture from the University of Nottingham and a BSc in Architecture from the University of Dundee.
