Carlos Osorio Sandoval

Carlos Osorio Sandoval is a seasoned academic and professional in civil engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham and a member of the Centre for Structural Engineering and Informatics. With a robust background in research and teaching, Carlos has contributed to projects focused on the integration of building information modelling (BIM) and construction safety. Previous roles include Research Associate at The University of Manchester and various teaching roles at the University of Nottingham. Carlos holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham as well as a Master of Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan, complemented by significant construction industry experience as a cost analyst and site supervisor.
