Professor Isabel Henton

Professor Isabel Henton serves as the Deputy Dean of the School of Psychology at the University of Roehampton since November 2023. With a robust academic background, Professor Henton has held various roles at Regent's University London since January 2016, including Programme Director, Director (People), and Senior Lecturer, among others. Additionally, Professor Henton contributes as a Guest Editor and member of the Editorial Board for Counselling Psychology Quarterly and is a Registered Counselling Psychologist with The Health and Care Professions Council. Previous experience includes academic positions across multiple institutions, including City University London and London Metropolitan University, along with extensive training roles in counselling psychology within NHS settings. Professor Henton completed a BA (Hons) and MA in Classics and Philosophy at Oxford University, followed by advanced studies at London Metropolitan University.
