Jessica M. DeWitt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in editing, historical research, and project management. Currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at the North Saskatchewan River Basin Council, Jessica also holds roles as Editor for the Edmonton City as Museum Project and Managing Editor for the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines. Additionally, Jessica provides consultation for the Predator Microhistory Network and is involved in media communications for the International Consortium of Environmental History Organizations. With a Ph.D. in Environmental History from the University of Saskatchewan, Jessica has a solid academic foundation complemented by previous roles that include Heritage Project Coordinator for the Whitecap Dakota First Nation and Web Researcher for the Ontario Heritage Trust. Jessica leads initiatives to support environmental history scholarship while enhancing accessibility and digital outreach within the community.
