Erin Downey

Erin Downey is a seasoned professional in project management and corporate partnerships, currently serving as Corporate Partnerships Manager and Strategic Innovation Projects and Partnerships Manager at the University of Southampton since April 2021. Prior experience includes key roles at Southern Universities Network as Project Leader, overseeing partnerships within the National Collaborative Outreach Programme, and managing an EU-funded project at Port Energy Conservation and Savings. Earlier positions also encompass roles at Solent University as Research and Innovation Development Officer, Southampton City Council as Senior Partnership Officer, and various communications and marketing capacities at NETSCC, SEPnet, and Sparsholt College Hampshire. Erin holds a Master’s Degree in Public Relations and Multi-Media Communications and a BA (Hons) in Writing Fashion and Culture, both from Solent University.
