Mike Clarke

Mike Clarke serves as a Visiting Professor and a member of the External Advisory Board at the University of Southampton, contributing expertise in geography and environmental sciences. In addition to current roles with /together as Chair of the Board of Trustees and member of the Board of Trustees, Mike Clarke holds the position of Honorary Vice President at RSPB and acts as a Project Adviser at St George's House, focusing on climate change and public health. Engagement includes collaboration with the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) and participation in the Collaborative Action on Climate and Health (CATCH) project. Mike Clarke has served on the NCVO Advisory Council and was a Global Council member for BirdLife International, where leadership included chairing the Science, Policy and Information Committee. Previous involvement with the United Nations for the Food Systems Summit highlights a commitment to addressing global food and environmental issues. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Zoology from the University of Oxford and a PhD in nature conservation and palaeo-ecology from the University of Southampton.
