Marinella Vowles

Marinella Vowles is an experienced Programme Manager specializing in online learning and academic technologies, currently serving as the Surrey Online Learning (SOL) Programme Manager at the University of Surrey since April 2020. In this role, Marinella has driven the strategic development and successful launch of prominent online MSc and MA programmes, while also leading a team as the Head of Teaching in Academic Technologies and Research & Innovation. Prior experience includes adeptly managing technology portfolios at Royal Holloway, University of London, and overseeing business and project applications at the University for the Creative Arts. With a strong background in web development and IT project management since 1997, and an academic foundation in Physics from the University of Milan, Marinella brings a wealth of knowledge to the education sector.
