Michele Rumsey

Michele Rumsey is a highly experienced professional with over 25 years in international health care research, policy development, and consulting. Currently serving as Director at the University of Technology Sydney since October 2005, Michele specializes in health professional regulation, human resources for health, and capacity development, focusing on health system strengthening. In addition, Michele is the Director of International Nursing Ltd since 1997, where consultancy services have been provided to organizations including JTAI, the EU Commission, AusAID, and the World Bank. Past roles include Ethics Officer at the UK Central Council for Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors, where significant projects were managed to enhance nursing practices, and Project Management at the Royal College of Nursing, focusing on strategic initiatives for nursing professionals. Michele also worked as a Project Officer for the World Health Organization EURO, where information was collated from European member states regarding funding availability.
