Subrata Chakraborty

Subrata Chakraborty is an accomplished academic with a robust background in information technology and management. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of New England since January 2022, Chakraborty also holds positions as a Senior Lecturer and Visiting Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney, and as an Adjunct Fellow at Griffith University. Previous roles include Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland and Research Fellow positions at Charles Sturt University and Queensland University of Technology, focusing on video coding algorithms and complex system modeling, respectively. Chakraborty began an academic career as a Teaching Associate at Monash University, where instructional responsibilities included teaching MBA and IT courses. The academic journey culminated in a PhD in Information Technology from Monash University, obtained between 2006 and 2010. Additionally, involvement with the Z-Inspection® Initiative as a Research Member reflects ongoing dedication to research and innovation in the field.
