Sanaz Emami

Executive Director Of Academic Librarianship And Informationa Research (journal) at University of Tehran

Sanaz Emami has a diverse work experience in the field of library management and academia. Sanaz started their career as a Librarian at the National Library of Iran (NLAI) in 2003 and worked there until 2007. After that, they joined the University of Tehran, where they held various roles including Library Manager, Head of Library of Entrepreneurship, and Secretary of Library Coordination Council. Sanaz served as the Executive Director of Academic Librarianship and Information Research and was a Member of the Knowledge Organization Committee. At the University of Applied Science and Technology, they worked as a University Lecturer starting from June 2021.

Sanaz Emami is currently a PhD candidate in Konwledge and Information Science - Information Retrieval at Islamic Azad University, Science And Research Branch, beginning in 2017 and continuing without an end year specified. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree from Islamic Azad University North Tehran Branch in the years 2009 to 2012. Their educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Allameh Tabataba'i University, completed between 2003 and 2007.

Dar-ol-Fonoon College was the first engineering school in its modern form which was established about a century ago. University of Tehran in its current form was inaugurated in the winter of 1934.
