Dr Jessica O'Bryan

Dr. Jessica O'Bryan is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast since January 2025, following a tenure as an Assistant Researcher at The University of Queensland from January 2020 to January 2025. With substantial experience in music education, Dr. O'Bryan has held various roles at Griffith University, including Lecturer and Tutor in the School of Education and Professional Studies from February 2008 to February 2024, and has managed research projects within the Conservatorium. As Managing Director of Plainsong Enterprises Pty Ltd, Dr. O'Bryan provided voice training and consulting services. An active contributor to the field, Dr. O'Bryan earned a PhD from The University of Queensland in 2015, focusing on classical singing education. Educational credentials include a Master of Music from Monash University and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Melbourne, alongside various teaching and research roles throughout a distinguished career in music and education.
