Phil Yeoh

Phil Yeoh is a highly experienced academic and engineer currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast since July 2023. Prior to this role, Phil held the position of Robinson Fellow at the University of Sydney from October 2016 to June 2023 and was an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2018. Phil's earlier career includes significant research appointments, such as an ARC DECRA Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne from 2012 to 2016 and a Postgraduate Scholar at CSIRO while completing a Ph.D. as a candidate at the University of Sydney. Phil's professional experience began with engineering roles at Telstra and ExxonMobil from 2003 to 2008. Phil earned a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Sydney in 2011, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering awarded by the same institution in 2004.
