Rachel Steward

Rachel Steward, MA, PHR, currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at The University of Tulsa since September 2023. Prior to this role, Rachel held various positions in human resources, including Executive Director of Human Resources at Hillcrest Hospital South from August 2012 to September 2023, where responsibilities encompassed daily HR operations and strategic planning. Rachel also worked as Division Director of Human Resources for Hillcrest Healthcare System and Director of Human Resources at Bailey Medical Center, leading HR functions and facility oversight. Earlier career roles included Sr. Human Resources Representative at Tulsa Regional Medical Center and Benefits Administrator at Taxsaver Plan. Rachel obtained a Master of Arts in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Oklahoma, complementing a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University.
