Lindsey Melo

Lindsey Melo, SPHR, currently serves as the Director of HR Operations at the University of Vermont, responsible for managing strategic initiatives essential for organizational success since November 2023. Prior to this role, Lindsey was the Assistant Vice President of People and Culture at Vermont State University, where leadership focused on comprehensive HR functions impacting faculty, staff, and university leaders. Additional experience includes serving as Manager of Employee Relations at The University of Vermont Medical Center and a long tenure as HR Business Partner and Lead Benefits Specialist within the same medical center. Earlier career roles include Human Resources Specialist at Belden Inc. and Human Resource Generalist at Champlain Cable Corporation. Lindsey Melo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College.
