Melissa Keil

Melissa Keil is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing and engagement within the university sector. Currently serving as the Director of Recreation, Marketing, and Engagement at the University of Victoria, Melissa has held various leadership positions, including Associate Director of Marketing Engagement and Programs, where responsibilities included operational oversight of marketing and community engagement for active living programs. Prior roles encompassed partnership development in athletics and recreation, as well as sponsorship coordination across university divisions. Earlier career experiences include administrative support at the Heart and Stroke Foundation and staffing assistance at The Bagg Group. Melissa holds a BA Honours in Criminal Justice & Public Policy from the University of Guelph and multiple credentials related to youth and penology from Durham College.
