David Brown is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Warwick since August 2021, leading the Science Management Project Office for the European Space Agency's PLATO space mission, supported by the UK Space Agency. Prior to this role, David was a Research Fellow from March 2018, managing over 200 scientists developing analysis techniques for PLATO data. David's academic journey includes a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of St Andrews, completed in 2013, and a Master of Physics from the University of Warwick, obtained in 2009. Additional experience includes postdoctoral positions at Queen's University Belfast and the University of Warwick, as well as a summer research project at the University of Warwick focusing on white dwarf binaries.
