Sam Gentry

Sam Gentry is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in media relations, public relations, and content management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement and Manager of Media Relations at the University of West Georgia, Gentry is responsible for building strategic media relationships and creating impactful communications materials. Additionally, Gentry operates Gentry Media Group as a freelance communications consultant, providing public relations and copywriting services. Previous roles include General Manager and various editorial positions at StarNews, where Gentry oversaw daily operations and content management. With a Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Writing and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications, Gentry's expertise spans various facets of media and community engagement.
