Kathleen Shafer Patterson

Kathleen Shafer Patterson currently holds the position of VP Corporate Real Estate at Unum, starting in September 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing corporate real estate strategy and facilities services. Previously, Kathleen served as Senior Director in various roles at IDEXX from July 2014 to April 2022, leading the development of global operations strategies and managing worldwide facilities. Kathleen's extensive experience also includes key roles at CVS Caremark Corporation, including Vice President of Corporate Logistics, and other positions that focused on supply chain optimization, logistics, and facility management across several companies. Kathleen earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech and furthered education at Ohio University.
