Raul Encarnacion

Raul Encarnacion has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Raul started their career as a Software Developer at Ministerio de Agricultura in 2002, where they worked until 2007. Raul then joined Scotiabank as a Software Architect in 2007 and worked there for a year.

In 2008, Raul joined Baker McKenzie as an IT Project Manager and stayed with the company until 2017. During their time there, they managed the entire IT projects portfolio and collaborated with stakeholders to develop project visions and roadmaps.

Starting in 2016, Raul worked as a part-time Professor in Systems Engineering at Universidad Peruana de las Américas, teaching courses in project management, web development, and databases.

In 2017, Raul began working at ACCIONA as an IT Manager, where they were responsible for managing the technology area of the Peruvian branch and overseeing the portfolio of IT projects. Raul implemented digital transformation projects to improve efficiency and innovation in user-centered processes. Raul worked at ACCIONA until 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, Raul served as an IT Manager at ZEGA Studio SAC. Raul managed IT software development and infrastructure projects, utilized agile frameworks and best practices, and supervised ticket management of partner companies using ITIL standards. Raul also handled Artificial Intelligence projects involving Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

In 2021, Raul joined WebCreek as a Senior IT Project Manager. Raul managed IT innovative projects using agile frameworks like Scrum, Lean, and Design Thinking, as well as waterfall methodologies like PMI and Prince2. Raul also managed development projects using cutting-edge technologies such as .Net Core, Angular, and Ionic. Raul worked at WebCreek until 2022.

In 2022, Raul started working at Qualifacts as a Senior Scrum Master and stayed until 2023. In this role, they contributed as a key member of the Scrum team, providing guidance and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Currently, Raul is working as a Scrum Master at UNWIRE since 2023. Their responsibilities include facilitating the Scrum process and ensuring the team follows Agile principles and practices.

Raul obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from CENTRUM PUCP, graduating in 2015. In 2014, they also completed a Master's in Team Leadership from EADA Business School, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Raul earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, completing their studies in 2009. Raul also attended IDAT from 1999 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Computing and Informatics, with a specialization in Computer Science.
